Daily Schedule
Monday- Thursday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Every day at Garden Gates follows a consistent daily schedule. This structure helps children feel more confident and secure - their daily activities are predictable and familiar.
7:00 - 8:30 - Drop - off: free play
8:30 - morning meeting with music and stories (indoor or outdoor)
8:45 - small group activities (indoor or outdoor)
9:15 - morning snack (indoor or outdoor)
9:30 - outdoor free play (observing, exploring, collecting, and using our 5 senses to enjoy the natural spaces)
11:30 - lunch and free play
1:00 - rest
3:00 - afternoon snack
3:15 - 4:00 - Pickup: Outside play/free play
Dates for 2026 - 2027
Program begins Monday, August 17th and ends Thursday, May 20th. We are a Monday - Thursday preschool with no attendance on Fridays.
We are closed the following dates:
September 7th- Labor Day
October 12th - Indigenous Peoples Day
November 23 - 26th - Fall Break (Class resumes on 11/30)
December 21-31st - Winter Break (Class resumes on the 1/4)
January 18th - Martin Luther King Day
February 15th - Presidents Day
March 25th - April 1st - Spring Break (Class resumes on 4/5)
